The Staff members here at Village Methodist Day School are actively engaged with children during meal times to promote positive social skills.  We provide a variety of foods from the five (5) basic food group that are included in meals and snacks.  When meals or snacks are brought for the class it is from an approve food source.  Safe water drinking is also promoted.  The safe drinking water is available to all children at all times.  Also, other beverages are available.  Children one year of age are offered whole milk and children two years of age and older are offered 1% milk.  Parents, we encourage you to promote healthy eating at home. For more information on healthy eating, please visit the choosemyplate.gov website.
